Lesson 1: Esther Becomes Queen
Esther 2:2-18—King Xerxes, a powerful king of a very large kingdom, chooses beautiful, young Esther to become his queen. No one in the palace knows Esther is Jewish.

Lesson 2: Esther's Life Is in Danger
Esther 3, 4—Haman, next in power to King Xerxes, does not like the Jewish people. He makes a law giving all who live in the kingdom permission to kill the Jews.

Lesson 3: Esther Is Brave
Esther 3, 4—Haman, next in power to King Xerxes, does not like the Jewish people. He makes a law giving all who live in the kingdom permission to kill the Jews.

Lesson 4: Esther Saves God's People
Esther 8—Haman is gone, but the law he wrote has not changed. Again Queen Esther's help is needed. She goes back to see the king and asks that a new law be written to protect the Jewish people.

Lesson 5: Celebrate Purim
Esther 9:1, 2, 18-32—Every year, two days are set aside to celebrate how God used Queen Esther to save the Jewish people. This is one of the happiest of all the Jewish holidays. It's a favorite among children.
